When it comes to doing actual work while sippin' something nice in an easy going atmosphere, this is the locale for me. Not too small, lots of spacing between seating, lots of natural, modern wood and lofty ceilings. Lots of outlets to charge your tech gear. This is one of the larger locations.
The staff are eager to please and not snippy in the least. I've been told I'm high maintenance by my bestie --- the staff passed the test with my request for 1/3 sugar in my matcha tea latte. They didn't even bat an eye when I changed me hot drink to an iced one at the last minute.
Long modern counters are clean and service is prompt. Lots of bathrooms--at least 4, I think. Clean too!!!
There's a chill vibe here like you don't have to be ushered out any time soon. Looks like most of the patrons know this too. I like it here...wish I could've stayed longer. To be sure, I'll be back... -

Useful little Starbucks at 7 & Woodbine. I've been a few times on a Sunday late afternoon and didn't experience the crowds some have written about. The service was a little disorganized but no major issue and the staff were nice each time.
To me a couple of things lift this place half a notch above the median Starbucks:
Washrooms. With FOUR washrooms, this place just might have the highest WC-to-Square Foot ratio of any hospitality business in the GTA. Perhaps a bit of overkill, but if you need to Go, chances are you won't wait long, if at all. :-)
I also like the long, hallway-style layout with seating on one side, counter & merchandise on the other. It's clean & uncluttered to be in and allows a lineup to form alongside the counter without impeding people on their way in/out or to their seats. Some more recent Stabucks place Cashier too close to the door allowing lineups to back on to the entrance, or it might be in the middle of the store causing lineups to become a barrier cutting the space in half. If anyone at corporate office monitors these reviews, pleas go back to this layout for small & medium size stores!
4.5 Star. What would make it 5? Shade the windows a little more in the spring & summer, and could still be better optimized for a couple of more seating places. -

Ok. I want to give this place two stars so no one will come and it won't get really really crowded!! But... that would be a lie, it's definitely a 4.5 stars!
Location:
Woodbine and highway 7. By fav cafe and a giant gym.
Parking:
Starbucks in the suburbs. Oh the parking is a plenty!
Decor:
Pretty nice. I could decorate my living my room like this. Wood, floor to ceiling windows. It's nice. Well it's also new so there's that's.
There's an giant booth along one wall with tables and chairs. A big communal table and a couch and some chairs. Really comfy
The Goods:
Starbucks. Y'all know what they serve
Staff:
Everyone is so nice!
They greet you when you com in, make recommendations, have samples!
Conclusion:
This is my new local Starbucks!! -

Great location and spacious layout. I come here because I work from my laptop. I just don't understand why they have the MUSIC SO LOUD? Everyone here is shouting because of how loud it is. It's next to impossible to hear anyone when they call me. I always have to step out every time!

Atmosphere, location 4/5
Service 2.5/5
Food/drinks 4/5
This location next to LA fitness is convenient. They have a small patio set up outside and the inside is large and decorated nicely. There are a lot of people who come here to sit and study with their laptops.
The service was too slow. The lineup was huge and there were people who got fed up and left. They struggled with the volume of customers with just 3 employees working. I saw how frazzled they were and one of the employees snapped at the cashier, who you could tell was a new trainee who was learning how to use the cash register and wasn't sure if they had trenta sized cups for their cold drinks. The lineup was long, the time it took to process the order at the register was long, and the wait for the drink order was long.
The coffee and iced coffee were consistent with Starbucks quality. However I would rather go to the Chapters one at First Markham Place to get faster service. When the customer volume is low, this is a great place to study because it gets quiet.
